Inclusion

Hello! For those of you who don't know me, I am Mr Evans, the Inclusion Lead and Assistant Headteacher at Huntingtree. Huntingtree Primary has a growing reputation for being an inclusive school and this is a responsibility we both embrace and strive to meet. A key part of my role is to ensure the provision for children with additional needs is as strong as it can be to ensure all children have an equal opportunity to reach their full potential. This provision can involve adaptations to the curriculum and/or learning environment, support for emotional and social development or in some cases, a completely individualised curriculum.

The sections below are designed to provide you with all the information you need to find out about the provision our children with special educational needs receive, however if you have a question that you can't find the answer to, please contact our office team to arrange to speak to me.

Here you can access a downloadable version of the above information:

Huntingtree also offers targeted support for pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL). For further information about the provision, please click the link below:

Complaints

Complaints about our SEN provision in our school should be made to the Inclusion Lead, Mr Evans, in the first instance. If this fails your next step would be to speak to the Headteacher, Mr Harrold, who will take steps to investigate and rectify your concerns. If you are still have further concerns, you can follow the school's complaints procedures.
