Home Learning
Welcome back to school!
Below you will find parental guidance for Home Learning.
The 10 minutes daily reading and completion of reading diaries remains.
Home reading
Reading is a very important part of learning at Huntingtree. Studies have shown that those who read for pleasure have higher levels of self-esteem and a greater ability to cope with difficult situations.
All children have an opportunity to change their reading books once a week. Below are links to reading resources if you need a new book before you can get to the school library.
Community Learning
There are many areas of natural beauty, in the local area around the school, which can be explored and enjoyed. In line with government guidance, you are allowed to spend more time outdoors, so now is a perfect opportunity to visit, whilst maintaining 2 metre social distancing.
Home School Provision (archive)
During school closure, children completed daily home learning. Children could choose one task for each subject area as well as the 10 minute activities and 'Life Skills'.
