Home Learning

Home School Provision

During school closure, daily home learning has been provided for all children. Children can choose one task for each subject area as well as the 10 minute activities and 'Life Skills'. Try to encourage your child to have a go at different types of tasks to increase the variety of learning.

Community Learning

There are many areas of natural beauty, in the local area around the school, which can be explored and enjoyed. In line with government guidance, you are allowed to spend more time outdoors, so now is a perfect opportunity to visit, whilst maintaining 2 metre social distancing.

Home Learning

Below you will find parental guidance for Home Learning.

  • For children in Year 1 and 2, the English focus is phonics
  • For children in Years 3-6, there will be fortnightly spellings to learn
  • For children in Years 1-6, the Maths focus is the development of basic skills being taught in class

The 10 minutes daily reading and completion of reading diaries remains.
